Welcome to Week #53 of the SNJ Winlink Wednesday Net.
 
This week, we’re going to generate an ICS309 log of your Winlink traffic from 11/30/2021 to 12/08/2021. You will generate a PDF copy for yourself and a .csv file to send to me.
 
In Winlink Express, click on the Message Tab and select Generate ICS309 Communications Log.
In the window that pops up, do the following:

Check: Inbox and Sent
Under Message Date Range: Start 2021-11-01 00:00; End 2021-12-07 23:59 (The P2P Target Stations from last week’s net, or Operators with a lot of Winlink traffic, can limit the date range to 11/30 to 12/07. This should keep the attachment size down when you send your check-in)
Page Layout Options: Combine recipients into a single entry
Fill in Task ID, etc… whichever way you like.
Output pdf file: Choose where your ICS309 will be stored on your computer and what it will be named.
Click on the Generate ICS309 PDF button and it will automatically be stored in your RMS Express Messages folder.

Then click on the Generate CSV File button. Select the following boxes: Message ID, Time, From, To, Subject, Message Type, and Attachment
Click on the Browse button to select where the file will be stored and to name it.
Click on the Generate CSV File button.
Now open a new Winlink Message and address it to SNJWW. Include the usual check-in information (Name, Call, Location (town and county), Band and Mode. And attach the CSV file that you generated.
And send…. That’s it.
