I’ve Winlink emailed a Bulletin Form to all the operators that have participated in the multi-week exercise so far. Winlink email to SNJWW if you need a copy.

There is a text file attached to the email message.  The file contains an ad hoc template to record CERT Team member’s Personal Protective Equipment. The EOC needs verification that all CERT Team members possess the required PPE before they can be sent into the field. You will record this information in the ad hoc template and send it to: SNJOEM.

You will need this template again later in the exercise, so you’d better save it. We are going to put the file into your Personal Templates folder for easy access.

First: Open the text file and copy it to you PC’s clipboard. Select the Message tab at the top of the Winlink Express window. Select the Template Manager. Click on ADD. In the pop-up window, name your template CERT PPE VERIFICATION. Click on the CREATE button. Paste the fiie contents from your clipboard in the window. Click SAVE.
The template is now in your personal template folder for future use. (This folder is beneath the Standard and Global Template folders and has your callsign on it.)

[NOTE: You could just save the file anywhere on your computer, but we will assume that there are multiple operators using your PC over the course of the exercise. It will be much easier for them to find if the file is in the templates folder]
 
PUT THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION INTO THE “CERT VERIFICATION TEMPLATE” AND RETURN IT TO: SNJOEM
[This exercise is an example of a quick and easy way to support a served agency specific form. The requested information will appear in your reply in a format that will be easy for the served agency personnel to transcribe into their specific form.]
