Week #36 Winlink Check-in with P2P

GE, Operators.

Week #36 is going to include both Regular Winlink and  Winlink P2P check-ins.

Everyone will use a Winlink Check-in Form. Please fill out the form as it pertains to you. Bonus points if you include your GPS or MGRS position.

Regular check-ins address your email to: SNJWW
P2P check-ins address your P2P messages to the station that you’re trying to connect to (N2PEZ, W0HU, or NJ2N)

[NOTE: Remember to create your Check-in Form as a P2P message and open a P2P Session to send it. This may seem obvious, but I’ve seen regular Winlink messages or sessions sneak in there in the field (and have done it myself). Sometimes it’s the simple things that cause problems in the real world. Just a friendly reminder.]

If you aren’t sending your check-in via P2P, please mention any experience you may have had using it in the past (on VHF, perhaps)

If you attempt to send your check-in via P2P, but cannot, please use your usual method to check-in and mention what happened in the form’s comment section. Include band, time, mode (VARA or ARDOP), and anything else that you feel was a factor.

Here is the P2P schedule and frequencies:
[We are taking any type of check-ins (Telnet, VHF, HF, P2P) on Wednesday AND Thursday to give everyone more time to play along]

NJ2N is in Southern New Jersey.

N2PEZ ahould be reachable by NJ and tri-state operators.

Good luck to All, and Have fun!

Re: Week #36 Winlink Check-in with P2P

P2P frequencies are DIAL FREQUENCIES , not Center Frequencies!
